To be fair...
the way I read it is that the Plymouth game was the straw that broke the camels back, so to speak. I think that they've seen it one too may times... and decided to act.
However they didn't act in the club's best interests. Worthington should have been hauled in, and dismissed with immediate effect. Not a public warning shot across the bows... it's not the sort of pressure that anyone can thrive under. Sadly it has only pro-longed the inevitable, but is it too little too late?
