And the only thing that's changed since is that even less people are prepared to cough up for content that's available for free elsewhere.

But even in the relatively narrow context of NCFC, he's on a hiding to nothing. The stuff that would be of the most interest that he may well have privileged access to, he cannot print anyway (eg. new signings, training ground bust-ups, managerial sackings ...) without losing those privileges.
