What is going on?

Absolute, complete and utter dross There are not enough words to describe the abysmal display we offered up on Saturday.

We are a shambles. We sell McKenzie + Green for up to ?3m.
We replace these effectively with a 19year old left back on loan who has never played a senior game before, and a 37 year old striker (who has been playing in defence for at least 3 seasons).

WHAT IS GOING ON?

There are so many salient points to justify why Worthington should no longer be our manager, and I don't want to bore you so I shall list only one.

Away Form - over the last two seasons and this:

Played: 47
Won: 5

Absolutely pathetic. That is more ore a less one win every 10 matches.

I have now travelled to SEVENTEEN away matches in this period and have seen ZERO wins. Yes, zero.

He has had 6 years to create an effective away team, it simply isn't going to suddenly change now. We have gone so stale. He has had so much time - over one year since it was clear he should have gone in 2005. The argument for keeping him is now redundant - given we are in EXACTLY the same position as we were one year ago.

The sad reality is that he will not go yet. We will probably scrape a win at home to Burnley on Sunday in an awful game, and he will earn another two week stay of execution. But nothing will change. After that comes two more away games (QPR and Birmingham), where we will prob get a maximum of 1 point.

Just where do we draw the line?
