I think he's comfortable enough there for a League cup match at Rotherham, but he's a midfielder, then a centre half, then a right back, left back comes very low on his list of favoured positions.
Given the number of left backs on Everton's books I'd be surprised if we weren't looking to sign boyle permanently, he looked one of the better players on the pitch against Palace last week.
