and the players you mention like Becker & Edberg weren't grass court specialists. They were great on it but they were also good on hardcourts, like McEnroe. Never been that much difference between those two surfaces. And claycourters still struggle, as demonstrated by Nadal today. So there's still a difference, just not enough to make it a totally freakish surface (as Karlovic's efforts at Queen's made it look)
