Too nice and too much respect for others. If someone wants one of our players they do not show us the same respect since we drive a hard bargain.
Pardew said he paid "over the odds" for Ashton. Green went for 500k more than expected and McKenzie went for double what most would have been ecstatic with!
You cannot have it both ways, and thus we end up with no new signings.
Norwich have never, apart from maybe 4-5 occasions, ever paid the going rate for a player.
