There has been far too much bad feeling...

Between the fans and the manager, and aside from promotion, the damage is irreparable.

The relationship between Worthington and the supporters has rarely been a close one. Worthington has, on many occasions, has spoke out against the fans negatively. He has even "apologised" several times for the remarks he has made.

It's time to bring in a fresh manager, even if we miss out on the play-offs on goal-difference alone, some fans will not accept that as a successful season. That is the highest I personally see us finishing, with a mid-table finish the likely scenario. Our squad is not big enough and does not possess the quality to match some fans' expectations.

Worthington has done great stuff at this football club, the final, the promotion year, the signing of Crouch and Huckerby and the last-minute surge in the Premiership (we won't mention Ful...). BUT now is the time to go, bar a very few, every manager has his day - and that has most definitely come for Nigel.
