I don't like the widening gap at all...

but the money put into football in recent years has been only to expand Murdoch's satellite empire. Yes he had to pay a premium price for Premiership football, but the type of investment we've seen in the last decade is not sustainable over the next ten years.

That is when the rot will set in at clubs, unsustainable debt that will lead to the professional game to implode.
