I'd of gone for Strauss myself (just).
Let flintoff do what he does best, be the go to guy, the partnership breaker. Just seemed a little hamstrung with the ball in india for me, over bowled himself a little.
Still he may of learnt from that and come back better, I would just have been happier letting him concentrate on his own game, rather than working out fields, tactics, who to bowl etc.
That said he's clearly got the passion and desire for the role and knows how to inspire a team which will be bloody important out there, and will do a good job as captain.
