Hucks and his injury...all a bit of a palaver
I can understand that if a players says he is OK to play then that is it...with slight muscle injuries its only the player themselves who can tell how bad it really is.
Also with Hucks performances (with the injury?) prior to Cov, it would be pretty stupid to leave him out but if he had been carrying this injury for a few weeks why not rest him (or make him rest) over the 2 week international break to help it clear up.
The only thing that the management can be blamed for is the paper thin squad which in this case isn't really to dire as we have a replacement in McVeigh (the position in which he has played his best football for city albeit a few years ago now) and Eagles if he is ready to be thrown in at this level.
