I rmember doing a clerical job at Norwich Union for a couple of months in my gap year. It was a hotbed of sex because everyone was SO BORED by the mindless crap we were doing. There was a dirty blonde all the blokes fancied, not least because she wore see-through skirts and thongs (unheard of in 1899). Our desk supervisor asked her for a blow job in the store cupboard; she called him (at high volume) a "dirty old w**ker"; but they still had to sit opposite each other for a week until she was tactfully moved on to another department (to our sorrow). It was a tense week.
