The reaction to our good start

was the release of months of tension and bitterness from the ridiculed KTFers, who couldn't contain themselves.

The sensible ones were those who wanted to wait a while before getting too excited.

And until we'd won away I wanted to wait a while. Most teams are better at home, but six wins in 46 away games? Totally unacceptable for any team other than lower mid-table strugglers.
