I don't this country will never produce a manager similar to Alf Ramsey - someone whose management philosophy was based on picking the right team and not the best players - hence Jimmy Greaves didn't play in the World Cup final.

Alf Ramsey always stood up and defended his corner and I cannot see McClaren doing the same.
