If the courts considered it and did not think he deserved

a ban then I guess what he did must have been pretty minor of the offensiveness scale so its difficult for any of us to comment really. Would be surprised if he got more than a 1 year ban.

I have certainly shouted things at some foreign players in the past in the heat of the moment (particularly Tarrico or counago when they were at Ipswich) that, although they were not racist, I probably would not get away with now so I can see how it happens.
