...lessons were learnt by all at the club over the summer. Just hope that the brinksmanship over the squad size doesn't come back to haunt us. If it works, then it'll be a fantastic success - not having to spend out all the money on permanent signings. If it doesn't, then I sincerely hope we can pull it out in the loan market. I can't see why not - Etuhu and Robbo last year were hardly emergency signings...

Just wish some of the more rabid Worthy Outers would be man enough to admit that some of the bile and bollocks spouted last season was unnecessary, let alone needing to continue it into this season.

I also hope that Hughes gets in, and proves people wrong - I'm sure he would be a better player without 20000 people on his back waiting for him to make a mistake.
