Where do people get the idea we bid ?2m for that Bristol City player

It seems that a bid of ?1.5m pipped us:

The lad's very talented - bit of a genious at times, at 18 he is still developing and inconsistent but he can ghost past players as if they weren't there. Played mainly on right wing but can play wide left as well. Probably best just behind a main striker than on the wing and he can score his share of goals. Talk is that Wigan may have pipped you with a 1.5m bid. I'd be disappointed to see him go for less than 2m.
