I'm inclined to agree

While we've only got Thorne who's a proven scorer at this level, it's easy to forget that Hucks spent a lot of time in the front two and is still essentially a very good striker at this level (and with McVeigh we do have cover for him making that move).

The lack of cover at left back does look more alarming, but lest we forget, it's damn hard to find a decent left-back, let alone a proven one who's willing to sit on the bench.

All in all, we're bound to be in trouble if we have a few bad long term injuries. But then again, most teams are.

Admittedly Brum, the Baggies, Crystal Palace & Sunderland seem to be running with huge squads this year, but most of those squads are full of the journeymen & nearly-weres that we've moaned about bringing in in the past.

Some of the youth teamers will make it, some won't, but they'll need runs in the sideto see how they go.
