no sympathy with that argument

if it was all just about financial security for his kids he's only managed to get himself another year on top of what he had here (current year + further 1yr option, which let's face it would have been taken up). He should have held out for a four year deal as no-one will spend decent money on a 30yo striker who can't hit a cows arse with a banjo so he'll be stuck back at the likes of posh scraping around for a living in three years time...

The signing on fee won't have been enough to give him that much more security and coventry are no more likely to get promoted than we are.

oh and lastly, have you been to coventry? hideous place so it be, used to have to go over there a couple of times a year when my brother and sister in law lived there.

ho hum, at least we've got ?600k (don't hold out too much hope of getting any of the promotion clauses or sell on!).
