We went up and had to spend money on a few players to do so
Upon promotion we got a new pitch, had to make amendments to the ground. The wage bill went up, etc etc.
?7m for Ashton, take out the money for Earnshaw, the sells on's, clauses and costs of offering him more money after six months and there isn't a lot left.
We probably have a decent amount to spend but you have to spend it wisely, spuking seven figure sums on 6ft + carthorses with only two decent years left in em is not the way to go. Spending ?600k on a young right winger with potential is.
