I think our formation suits us defensively aswell as offensively...

I don't necessarily think we have a better squad than the Championship season... We're just better organised and playing to our strengths much more than we did last season.

Last season we were hoofing the ball from back to front to Earnie who is anything but a target man.

This season we're playing the ball on the deck and using our two fantastic wingers to create something, which is working a treat at the moment.

Last season we were playing a 4-4-2 with Huckerby on the left wing which left us exposed down the left flank defensively.

This season we're playing more of a 4-3-3 which is allowing the extra CM to float behind Croft or Huckerby as required, or behind Colin or Drury if they've overlapped. This basically makes us much more solid.

The only thing we're really lacking is someone who isn't afraid to get in the box and cause havoc from the midfield. Dickson is capable of this and Robinson scored a good goal at the weekend, but they need to do it more often.

When Croft or Huckerby are on the ball, their prime directive must be to get the ball in the box. Therefore, we need to get someone in there on the end of it. Earnie is a great poacher in these situations, but if we put it across in the air we need someone with Dickson's presence to get up there and on the end of it.

With Safri sitting back, breaking up the play and distributing it as well as he does, we can afford at least one of Etuhu or Robinson to make that run.

I'm not sure if they're confident enough to do it yet, but it's hopefully something that will come...
