Worthy trying to get a bid in for Leon?
CITY boss Nigel Worthington again stressed there was a future for want-away striker Leon McKenzie at Carrow Road - but admitted he would be tempted to sell if the right offer came along.
McKenzie handed in a shock transfer request to the Club on Monday - a request which was firmly rebuffed.
The striker has endured a frustrating start to the season, having to contend with appearances from the bench with Robert Earnshaw taking-up the lone central position in attack.
In an interview with the Norwich Evening News in midweek he said he was after regular first team football as he entered the peak of his career at the age of 28.
And while Worthy said he understood why the former Peterborough striker was feeling the strain, he still wanted him to reconsider his future.
