... I got slung out there with a slap round the side of the head from a bouncer who looked like he'd been carved out of the side of a mountain. Was covered in cuts and briuses for days.

I was chatting up this bird, and getting on really well, was well in, then her boyfriend turned up, unexpectedly, on a night out with his mates - he decked me, I was on the floor for all of two seconds before a bouncer picked my up by the front of my shirt and threw me out the door.

The whole thing must have lasted about 30 seconds.

I count it as a moral victory though, 'cos the chap that decked me only did it 'cos he knew as well as I did that if he hadn't turned up I'd've been shagging his girlfriend that night.
