Trust me. I have a lot of experience with revenue models for software applications, especially web, and monthly subscriptions especially for content which is so easily reproducible is highly unlikely to yield much income.

The revenue HAS to come from elsewhere. Therefore I do not believe he can make a living wage simply from his articles on a website.
