At 2-0 down, one would expect a defeat. However, if Norwich City?s resilience and spirit are taken into consideration, then turning around a 2-0 deficit wouldn?t be much of a surprise. Nigel Worthington rightly commended it after Norwich?s battling performance against Luton Town at Carrow Road
Following Rowan Vine?s spectacular strike and Dean Morgan?s sublime solo effort, all of a result of lacklustre defending, Norwich produced arguably the best of the Championship so far by turning around a two-goal deficit. Darren Huckerby capitalised on a Sol Davies error before Nigel Worthington?s solitary summer signing Lee Croft levelled the score. Robert Earnshaw snatched an emphatic victory for the Canaries by scoring his 2nd goal in 3 games. The fight back was complete.
Based on their performance; despite falling two goals behind, Norwich deserved to win. Norwich?s early season form has instilled optimism and has given fans a sense of belief, however, it is worth noting that this is the 3rd game of the season and Norwich may not continue their good form forever. Nevertheless, long may it continue!
