I asked this question to Doncaster last week, funny how it didn't get put on the chat

He replied to someone on here saying the fans and club should move together and should learn to understand the limitations of the club along the way

So I asked how are the fans supposed to understand these limitations when one minute we throw 3.5 million at a player then a few months later we're reading reports that there aren't that many resources available

Why did we allow that much money to be spent on one player if in the future a team isn't going to be built around him?
