Positivity, 2000/01 season, Norwich away to Barnsley
Lost 1-0, Dominated the game from start to finish cos Barnsley did a shocking tackle on sutch
Iwan had a goal disallowed, and GG went completley bananas after scoring but was again disallowed
I lremember thinking we were awesome, and we'd just outplayed a team that was in the play off final the year before and we could have a good season
Except, the players kicked off in the dressing room, turned out to be Bellamy's last game for us. We drew the next game and narrowly lost 3-2 to Blackburn, and the knives were out for Hamilton
Hamilton actually had the same points tally as Worthington did last season on the date he was sacked
So one (leeds saturday) game all being about positivity not taking loads of chances, and your opposition was brilliant the season before means jack
Sorry, but it does. Roll on the next few games to find out what really is going to happen
