he DOESN'T make the short passes. 3/4 of his short passes are either cut out or don't make their target. He closes down space, yes, but does a Gary Holt impression when he gets there - just plays Kabaddi with the opposition.

FWIW I thought yesterday was his best game so far in Norwich shirt - he seemed to get around the pitch much better than last season, probably helped by Etuhu turning up for once and not having Hooves next to him.
