Leeds Today

Went to Leeds today. As long suffering away fans, we were prepared for the misery that usually unfolds. I thought the away fans were excellent with fine support and no noise from the Yorkshire Boys. A gate of 22,500 at Leeds was quite frankly, awful for a supposedly a 'massive' club.

As for the game. I thought we deserved at least a point. I saw more football today than in the whole of last season.

Some thoughts: Leeds are not very good. Defence was OK, Colin so much better with Croft ahead of him. Croft, he'll be good for us when fit, not a great tackle that gave away the penalty. Midfield, Safri the MOTM, but Ethuhu and Robinson were OK but faded a bit towards the end of the match. Hucks was in and out of the game. Earnie was isolated at times, we need another front player to give him support.

I know we lost, but this was so much better and we were unlucky to lose. I do worry about our Plan B when we are chasing a game. Today there wasn't one and we ran out of steam. I only hope that that Martin Hunter is strong enough to impose himself and show Worthington how to create and set up a winning team.
