you'd have thought our great leader might have strengthened the back line over the course of the summer.
The guy is a f**king idiot.
Sutton could also fill in for us in the centre of defence as well as plug the gaping hole we have up front.
Why is Thorne still here?
Reading showed they way last season with full backs that actually pushed on and attacked, supporting their wingers.
'Two-touch' Drury was excellent in defence again last season but seems to get a nose bleed everytime he crosses the half way line.
Flem was solid but lacks the pace to get up and down to support or cover back; how we miss Eddy.
I see no reason to expect any improvement this season - even if players are brought in now we will be playing catch up.
Meanwhile Southampton changed their manager and gave him time to evaluate his squad and rebuild over the summer. KTFers take note as to how both our seasons pan out.
