My own preference would be for a central mid and/or a defender

I'm quite happy with Earnie and Leon as strikers, and I think the other areas need strengthening more than up-front does. I don't buy that you've got to have a Iwanalike hold-it-up target man, which is Worthy's theory. Having two strikers like Earnie and Leon does require your midfield to play, though, and learning the difference between lofting the odd ball into space behind the opposition back four and hoofing it upfield to the shortest man on the pitch would be a good thing.
