The players would love more signing, but it's down to the board and how much money they have.
To me, that sounds like the board are limiting Worthy on how much he spends, and he would have happily spunked 1 million on Howard if the board let him.
Really cant see him being here much longer.
I think he's going to need a few favours from his mate at Arsenal, and hope for some loan signings ala Crouch, Hucks and Harper to save his job.
