You're forgetting to factor in the size of the lightbulb...if
for example it was more than midget-hand size then you'd probably need more to actually screw the bulbs in and out. For each extra "screwer" (if you'll excuse my Portuguese) the number would increase by a further 8 to make a second midget tower or by one further ladder.
Unless it was that one f**ken hooge midget, or it was a desk-lamp, in which case you would save on the midget tower.
