It has to be said thought, that it's all relative. I mean

in many countries on the European continent they don't have a culture of violence or a "boys will be boys" notion, so the average Friday or Saturday night in most cities in the UK would seem to them like Beirut 24 hrs after National Kidnap-an-Israeli-Soldier day.

While I can watch the images and think it's not that bad, the Dutch and Germans for example would be shocked.
