Whether they need it or not ?

Not accusing you of doing it, but we recently discovered that the missus' grandparents were being regularly stung because they turned their Windows 98 machine off at the wall and every time they booted got the Scandisk screen. They then called the local PC troubleshooter who came over, took the PC away and brought it back "fixed" for about 100 euros. Then they did it again, and he did the same again. About 4 or 5 times.
