Or are you referring to the lack of transfer funds generally? I agree re the latter...I think the Board is cleverly holding money back to give to a new manager in the event of a catastrophic start to the season. If Worthy proves himself up to Xmas and we're in with a shout then he'll be given cash in January. Could be wrong though!

FWIW I'd have Sutton if such a thing as PAYP exists and if it was for the right wages...because he's a class act, 33 is not old for his type of player at this level, and if he were to stay injury free he'd be by far the best target man in the division.

But what I definitely would do is give him the courtesy of a phone call because the man is desperate to play for us.
