Can I just check

People on here do realise that Chris Sutton has got older and isn't as good as he used to be when he played for us before. Everyone sems to be talking him up as some great saviour. Like he's going to come back score 25 goals, we'll qualify for Europe, beat Bayern Munich, Gossy will start scoring 30 yard volleys again and all the hurt of the last 13 years will just dissapear.

Personally I see him as being very similar to a certain Mr. Thorne. And a quick look at their stats over the last few years makes Thorne look a little better.

Still, Worthy is wrong no matter what he does these days. I just hope he sticks to his guns. If we turn out to be s**t at least he can look himself in the mirror and know it's his fault and not ours.

I have the standard inane optimism though again this year and I genuinely think we will do well
