The Sutton debate

I am sure he could do a job for us on a pay as you play deal. Considering we have specifically been looking for a big target man all summer, it seems beyond obvious that we should at least speak to him. Also, if Steve Bruce is interesting in signing him (and he should know his capabilities better than anyone right now), why does Worthy feel to self ustified in not even speaking to him.

Based on Worthington comments, earlier in the week, we haven't even spoken to him or his agent because he is too old and injury prone.

Either Worthy is the most stubborn man in existance, or he truely doesn't care what the fans think because he is so secure in his job, OR he has nuts the size of footballs and sticks to his principles.

Either way, if Sutton goes to the Scum and scores even a few goals, he will get crucified by everybody except the most dedicated KTF'ers.

Talk about making a rod for your own back....
