Living in Bristol here are few half decent recommendations

If your looking for some grub in Bristol during the day here's a few recommendations:

Waterfront: The River (quite a cool bar, just off city centre)
The Triangle: Bar Ha Ha (again quite good bar, about 1/2 mile from city centre, up Park St)
Hope & Anchor (traditional pub with good grub, about 1/2mile from city centre)
The Clifton (Bit like one of those London Gastropubs in Clifton Village about 1&1/2mile from city centre)
