I was taught how to abbreviate words in order to save time/space, about 10 years before text messaging was actually invented.

Your mobile bills must be pretty expensive, try cutting down on texts, you might save some money that way.

Instead of filling them out with eeeerrrrmm, uuurrrr, i'm a dump f**ker etc etc
