And why wouldn't a contracted player also be PAYG?

In fact, I would imagine that nearly all contracted players are PAYG, ie, they are paid a basic wage, topped up with appearence based earnings.

How would you know which contracted players don't have additional PAYG terms in their contract. Maybe there's some kind of register that only you have access to, I dunno....
