Yes, I always forget that that mid-80s Glasto wasn't the only "year of the mud"

and probably not the first. But it certainly did bucket all weekend. Total f**k-up with the sleeping arrangements where our mate (the one I'm off to Czech Rep with as it happens) arrived early with the tent and then failed to meet the rest of us as arranged. Had to get a taxi to Bristol to stay in a guest house. The next day (still raining) we bumped into another mate from Lincoln who had a two man tent and had left his girlfriend struggling to climb over the fence when he thought he heard someone coming, so legged it ... Six of us kipped in his tent that night - very cosy. Next day (sun had come out, but not for long) we found Vic alone in an 8 man tent with a huge bag of grass ...
