I would go for this

Safri Robinson
Croft Mcveigh Hux
Earnie

Obviously I wouldn't have Hughes and we need a place for Mcveigh. If he plays in a deep role we will need an extra defensive player which is where Robinson comes in.
This would be similar to the infamous Bolton H match where we had Helveg and Safri with Bentley pulling the strings from midfield. Hux and Jonson provided the width that day.
Unfortunately no place for Etuhu because he looked alright against Newcastle. And I never thought I would put Robinson in the team but I am prepared to give him another chance to prove himself.
