It seems the EDP has changed its slant

Having read their admiring review of the great Newcastle last night. Having read the posts here from last night, during the game, all were negative there too. I presume that their info was from Radio Norfolk or some such, so the whole local media now has the downers on us for this season.

But it really wasn't totally downhill last night. There wasn't as much long ball last night after the first 20 minutes, and some quite incisive football at times. Newcastle have been on a good run (the last 15 games of last season), have already played 2 games in Europe and that against a Scandinavian team whose season has started already (I think), and are no pushover.

I'm really pissed off with moaning, complaining, fans of the team (some for as long as 5 years...) hoping we lose and calling the whole set up rubbish. They should go back to supporting the Premiership team of their choice and be gratefull they didn't have to enjoy Shaun Carey and a bench with Damian Hilton on it. (No disrespect to those now non-league players). I know Hughes is crap and Worthington reacts too slowly on the bench, I just choose to think about the possibility that we might improve. You never know.
