World-beating mismanagement from what I can tell
The poor Cambridge fans keep forking out to paper over the cracks and keep them stumbling on to the next crisis, but they really do seem f**ked.
Most ominously of all, one of their board bought the ground for a sum that was supposed to keep them afloat for at least 18 months (Gone in 6 months? WTF?!?!). Another member of the board has offered to take over entirely and buy the ground back for more than was paid for it, but owner says no. Just the place for a nice new housing development I reckon...
