He and they can be as cosy and lovey-dovey as they like, if this season is similar to last, then the clamour for him to leave will be irresistable and the Board will have to take action, lest the same amount of stick is turned on them as well. Does this Board honestly think it can stay put and fiddle even if we do burn?
I HATE this cosy little thing they have going on, it speaks nothing of ambition and a desire to progress and everything about maintaining a nice little status quo and jobs for the boys.
