If we can't get a new dedicated right-sided midfielder
(and they don't appear to be dropping from the trees, at least not in our direction) I hope to God that Worthy has the sense to play Mc Veigh in that position. He's best on the left, but arguably better on the right than any other player we have - reads the game, slides accurate passes and can both cross and shoot. We looked much better at the end of last season when he was played there in the closing minutes of games...But in reality, we all know it will be Hughes doing his impression of a terrier chasing a tennis ball...Damn it.
