ok I give up

Can someone please explain the Ryan Jarvis love in. Yes his touch on the ball can be sublime but he makes no effort to get in the box , he's got virtually zero pace, his aggression is nil and he's brushed off the ball so easily. A striker has to WANT to score & be busting a gut to get in there. I'm sorry I just can't see it..or have I just watched him too often in the reserves
