I think...

that that was the WORST Premiership season ever for all newly promoted teams - I know Bolton, Barnsley, and Palace all went down in 1997/98, but with the exception of Palace (who had 33 points) all of them had more points than the West Brom team who just stayed up in season 2004/05.

Hopefully that won't be the case for us lot this season - with maybe the exception of Sheff Utd, whose manager it seems fashionable to want to fail!
