Darren Huckerby - voice of the fans

Anyone else notice that hucks seems to be becoming increasingly vocal in the press and often comes out with exactly what the fans think needs to happen.

Folloing on from his execellent "i will never leave stuff" he has followed it up with recent efforts such as "hopefully we will find teh right way of playing and stick to it for the whole season" and "we need to bring in a couple of players to fill the gaps" and then today we see him say

"we've played a lot of kids in today's game but in the next two or three games the gaffer will be putting out his first team and then we've got to start gelling before the start of the season. Its important because the lads will be looking for two or three lots of 90 minutes before the start of the season and we've only got four or five games left, so hopefully he will have picked his team pretty soon."

This may all be pretty opbvious stuff but its actually refreshing to hear someone from the team come out and say it. Hopefully a more influencial Hucks will keep Worthy on his toes this season because Worthy knows that if it came down to him v hucks there will only be one winner with the fans!
