Anyway seriously, my outlook on things for what it's worth.

A little perspective is desperately needed.

1. It may be frustrating not to have new faces parading city shirts but it should be remembered that our budget is small and Worthington will only spend to improve the squad - and rightly so. I would rather he did this than wasted our pennies on players that will never make it. If the right players are too pricey or don't want to come I would rather NO signings at all were made.

2. Stop going on and on about 'another [random] player we have missed out on'. For heavens sake; talk about winding yourselves up! All clubs, with different needs and different budgets are swapping and searching for new recruits (including ours) you cannot get deflated every time someone signs a contract for anyone not Norwich.

The signings will come when they come. Banish the doom and gloom. Enjoy the sunshine. Accept that Worthingtion isn't going and appreciate that booing players and the bench do NOTHING but make us look fickle and spoilt and damage our own team's morale. Enjoy supporting the club and accept that we are not giants in the game and that it is only through having the rough times that the good times (however rare/brief) feel so great.

Smile! Get a grip. Can't wait for the season to begin.
